 When main contractor for the luxurious RITZ CARLTON MILLENIA Singapore. Dragages et Travaux, wanted someone to add the finishing soft touches to the hotel, we (Umi) was the obvious choice. Established in 1983 UMI is known for its exclusive quality of carpets, fabrics and wall-coverings. Combined with a track record for excellent and reliable workmanship, UMI is one of the few carpet companies in Singapore to be awarded the BCA (Building Construction Authority) licence in the category of L5 (S$10 million).
The carpets for all the Suite Guestrooms, Presidental Suite, Club Lounge as well as along the corridors/lift lobbies were supplied and installed by in accordance with the specifications by well-known designer, Hirsch-Bedner U.S.A.  |

Umi was responsible for supplying all the wallcoverings to the Suite Guestrooms and the hand-made parchment wallpaper along the corridors of Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore - reportedly the most expensive wallpaper to be used in Singapore's hotels. It's exclusive, gold hand blocked design was specially selected for the hotel.
